MATHS

WHO IS THIS FOR:

The move from Key Stage Two to Key Stage Three in Maths can often lead to a dip in confidence, especially as topics become more abstract. Our Key Stage Three Maths tuition is designed to keeping learning grounded in kindness and openness. Children are encouraged to talk honestly about the areas they find difficult, allowing us to address gaps early and build strong, secure foundations. We revisit key number skills, strengthen arithmetic, and rebuild confidence before introducing more complex ideas.

As children progress through Key Stage Three, we introduce GCSE-style thinking in clear, manageable steps. This may include early algebra, ratio, fractions, percentages, geometry, problem-solving and mathematical reasoning. Tutors model methods carefully and give children the space to practise without pressure.

By blending steady challenge with a warm, supportive environment and move towards their GCSE years feeling capable, confident and ready to tackle more advanced maths.
